On a research field trip to Indonesia, I began to blog about Panama Disease – a deadly disease of banana plants that threatens banana production worldwide.
I enjoyed blogging.
So, I started a second blog about plant diseases called Microbes Eat My Food. Microbes Eat My Food highlights current plant disease threats like Citrus Greening of orange trees and historic plant disease outbreaks like the coffee rust outbreak on Ceylon that transformed the British into tea drinkers.
