I am a german scientist and photographer based in Norwich (UK). Â Currently I am doing research on Panama Disease of bananas – a devastating disease which threatens to wipe out my beloved breakfast banana. I have studied in Frankfurt/Main (Germany), Toulouse (France) and Bonn (Germany), did my PhD in Genetics at the Max Planck-Institute for Molecular Plant Breeding Research in Cologne (Germany) and a Postdoc in Amsterdam (Netherlands). When I am not working, I grap my camera to capture for the perfect picture. Anywhere in the world, I love to sip my coffee while being surrounded by the huzz and buzz of people.
